The Festival is a day-long celebration of wine. The Glasgow Festival of Wine is for wine lovers from novice to expert. Wine Tasting admission tickets include all tasting samples. Meet winemakers and the UK's best retailers and importers. NOTE: a Wine Tasting admission ticket is required to attend any session detailed below.

12:45PM - UNVEILING THE CôTE DES BAR £20.00 (£20.00) Transaction fee applicable *

12:45 until 1:30pm - Unveiling the Côte des Bar with winemaker Michel Parisot of Champagne Devaux.  Explore this magical terroir of Champagne, the hidden gem that is the Côte des Bar, particularly renowned for the quality of its Pinot Noir. You will taste not only the 'D' series, aged for a minimum of 5 years, but the 2008 vintage, regard as the 'vintage of the century' and as an extra-special treat, the 'Collector 2005' vintage, served from Magnum.

2:15PM - MAESTRO OF CHENIN BLANC £15.00 (£15.00) Transaction fee applicable *

2:15 until 3:00pm - Twenty years of Chenin Blanc, with Ken Forrester.  One of the most respected winemakers in South Africa, Ken is the acknowledged authority on Chenin Blanc, including his iconic 'FMC' bottling, but on so much more. Always entertaining, lucky masterclass attendees in Edinburgh two years ago loved his wines and his entertaining style, so we are delighted to welcome him again in Glasgow.

3:45PM - TRADITION AND MODERNITY IN LEBANON £15.00 (£15.00) Transaction fee applicable * Sold out

3:45 until 4:30pm - Tradition and Modernity in Lebanon, with Chateau Ksara.  Michael Karam is the world-renowned expert who has, literally, written the book on wines of Lebanon, so we are thrilled that he will join us in Glasgow for this guided tasting of the wines from Lebanon's oldest estate, Chateau Ksara, founded in 1857 and producing outstanding wines from their high altitude vineyards in the Bekaa Valley.
